Born and bred on a vineyard in the heart of the Winelands, in South Africa, Shane’s love for wines grew when he was selected as one of the top up and coming sommeliers and earned himself a seat on the Board of the South African Sommeliers Association. Working at various vineyards, cellars, and tasting rooms gave him a wholesome picture of the how, what, why, and wonders of wine beyond service. With an added advantage of gastronomy, he delights in creating such a magical fusion between wines and food. The chemistry and experimental spirit shared between Shane and the Executive Chef, Treasure, is what puts the word “lab” in The Wine Lab.

After undertaking a dynamic MBA program at Hult business school, London, Annie went on to become a Prince2 Certified project manager. With a strong background as an experienced Business Development Professional, she is a self-starter who has worked with global teams in London, Lagos, Athens, and Kuala Lumpur.
Despite having a successful career in the oil and gas industry, Annie’s keen interest in wines led her to make a career switch, become certified in the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and also create a popular wine club. Next to her love for wines is her passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
